Kurisoo farm is over 100 years old. We have tried to keep the historical feel of it. The garden was started in 2008 and today there are 1,5 hectars of planted area. The soil is very wet and there are number of drainage canals that divide our garden into different parts. In the damp and shady garden areas there are flowerbeds with hostas, astilbes and ferns. Hostas are amongst my favourite plants, so in my collection there are about 200 different hosta varieties. So far this is the only hosta collection in Saaremaa. There are also different type of perennials in other flowerbeds, including old country garden plants. I also combine annuals with perennials. In our farm there is also vegetable garden, where we grow vegetables for our family.
In ornamental garden there are 100 varieties of trees and shrubs, 400 varieties of perennials, plus 200 varieties of hostas.
We have also started establishing park with oaks and pine trees.
In 2013, our farm won the prize of the "Beautiful Estonian Home, 2013"
