ANNE EESMAA´S GARDEN

The most important design figures here are the approximately 100 years old deciduous trees and moss-covered stone walls that create spaces whose original purpose no one can remember.There are also a lot of wild flowers and while building our garden, we have tried to keep the historical and natural feel of it.

The current garden was started in 2000 and the larger planted areas have been built over the past decade. 

The size of the planted garden is about a half of a hectar and it represents all sorts of different gardening styles of interest: stumpery, peat garden, rockery and simple flower beds. 

Most of the plantings are located in shade or half shade, which is why my favorites include different shade plants: ferns, Epimedium, hellebores, Hostas etc. There are also a lot of bulb flowers.

In addition, we also take care of another hectare of land where we have planted trees and bushes.

There are approximately 2,000 varieties of plants growing here.

VISITING INFORMATION: Visits by prior agreement, smaller groups are preferred.
